I bought music under the Common License for my game, can I use the music for my game's trailer too?
Yes! The Common License covers commercial and non-commercial video games, including online marketing content like trailers and promotions on web and social media. This license is specially discounted for video game-related content.

Yes, you can! The Common License now allows you to use the music in unlimited games.
Can I use your music and sound effects in a stand-alone music track or perform it?
No, our music is licensed for synchronization in media productions (e.g., games, videos, films) and cannot be used as stand-alone tracks or for performance. Example: Adding lyrics or editing our music into a track for sale on iTunes or live performance is a copyright infringement.
However, you may use our sound effects in a music track or performance.
Can I include your music for my video game's OST (Original Soundtrack) or as part of any multimedia template?
Unfortunately, we do not allow our music to be sold or redistributed separately as OST or as part of any multimedia templates in games, websites, etc. View Terms of Use.
If you'd like to include our music in your game's OST, we suggest adding an in-game Jukebox where players can unlock and replay soundtracks or cutscenes at any point in the game. 😊
Players who bought my game on platforms like Steam, Itch.io etc, have access to the music files when they buy a game. Does that fall under redistributing unsynchronized music?
Using our music synchronized within the game and selling the video game commercially is not a problem as long as the buyers do not have access to our music or sound effects in standalone elements. However, We understand due to the nature of certain game engines; the video games are redistributed in a folder that includes music, sound effects, art, and so on as they are needed to run the game. In this case, it's fine, so don't worry too much about it :)
