Can I use a music (game license) in a video game trailer to promote my game on social media (YouTube/Facebook/Vimeo)?
No, music (game license) is to be used in the game only. To promote your game using our music, please purchase the appropriate Online Video license (YouTube/Web.. etc).
Posting a gameplay recording on online platforms and social media is allowed if the music is not re-added into the video but recorded straight from the game itself together with the game’s sound effects.
Can I use music from the same pack in different games/video?
Yes, as long as each music is only used once in each of the different ONE end product. Using the same music in multiple scenes of the same game is not an issue.
Do I need a separate license each time I use an item in a series?
Yes, each game/end product in a series is considered a new product so you will need to purchase another license.
What if I can't decide on which music license to get?
You can purchase the lowest license first (Music:’Common’, ‘Silver’, SFX: ‘Game’) and upgrade when necessary. Do purchase the pack/music track with an account on our website so you can upgrade the pack/music track from your order history. It will deduct away the amount you already paid.
For example, if the ‘Common’ License for a Music Pack cost $24.90, and the ‘Rare’ License cost $70.90, you only need to pay the $46 balance for the upgrade.
What do you mean by single-user?
Single-user means we grant one user the right to use our Sound libraries or our Bundles. It grants one user the right to use the Sound Libraries or Bundles on one workstation at a time, although the Licensee is permitted to make and keep backup copies of the Sound Libraries or Bundles on other storage devices.
