Frequently Asked Questions
What can I use the sounds and music for?
All our audio is royalty-free. You can use the sounds and music in video games, mobile apps, visual novels, trailers, YouTube videos, streams, and most commercial projects. The only limit is choosing the correct license tier based on your game’s scope and distribution.
Do I need to credit WOW Sound?
Credit is not required. Once you purchase a license, you can use the audio without attribution. If you would like to credit us, a simple “Music/Sound Effects by WOW Sound” is more than enough and always appreciated by our team.
What’s the difference between pay-per-track and subscriptions?
The difference is in how you access the sounds:
- Pay-per-track / Pay-per-pack:
You buy only what you need and use it forever. This works best if you just need a few tracks or SFX packs for your current project.- Subscription plans:
You pay monthly or yearly for access to a larger library. It’s ideal if your game needs lots of sounds or you work on multiple projects. Once the subscription ends, your usage rights expire. To use the sounds again, you’ll need to renew your subscription.
All tiers include the same high-quality audio files. You can choose the tier that matches your project size, revenue, and distribution. For a detailed comparison, you can read our guide on Choosing Game Audio Licensing: Pay-per-Track VS Subscription Plans.
Can I use the assets in multiple projects?
Yes. Both pay-per-track licenses and subscriptions let you use the assets in unlimited projects, as long as each project fits your chosen license tier. With pay-per-track, your rights are permanent. With subscriptions, your rights end once your subscription ends.
How many audio tracks can I download in a subscription plan?
With a Subscription (Creator, Pro, or Business Plan), you can download up to 99 tracks per month.
- Each main track and its variations are counted separately—for example, the MTG Bounce and Battle FULL Loop includes 7 submixes, so it counts as 8 tracks in total.
Our download limit ensures a carefully curated, high-quality selection while supporting the artists behind every sound. It maintains a copyright-safe, worry-free experience and encourages intentional creativity, helping you find the perfect sounds for your project.
